Judge Damon Vannoy

Judge Damon Vannoy has served as the Justice of The Peace for Precinct 3 Grayson County Texas since November 2018. He currently presides over evictions, small claims, debt cases, administrative hearings, truancy hearings, magistrate matters, and class C misdemeanors. He also served as a Community Supervision Corrections Officer for Grayson County since August 1998. Prior to this, he served with the Collin County Sheriffs Office, and served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer. During his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time with family. He is no stranger to service and is proud to serve as your Judge for the Justice Court in Precinct 3.

DO NOT attempt to contact the Judge by mail, e-mail, phone or in person regarding any pending criminal or civil matter. Doing so is considered ex parte and may result in serious consequences.

Courtroom Dress Code : When coming to Court you should dress appropriately. Proper dress for men consists of long pants, a shirt with a collar and shoes. Women should wear a dress, skirt or long pants with a modest top and shoes. It is not appropriate to wear a hat.
