Bruce Dawsey brings a lifetime of public service to the office of Grayson County Judge. With time served in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman and over 29 years in law enforcement leadership roles—including his previous position as Assistant Police Chief with the City of Sherman—Dawsey has always felt called to community service.

Dawsey was a proud trustee with the Howe ISD School Board for nine years and currently serves as a Council Member for the City of Van Alstyne. Bruce and his wife, Jackie, are the proud parents of two.
